Steve Reason I'm old enough to have seen G 'n R on their first tour of UK in 87 and I love hard sleazy rock 'n roll I've got a huge collection of mainstream and rare sleaze. This cd is up there with my all time favourites. I love Dirtbag Republics other records but this is my favourite. Awesome heavy sleazy riffs, catchy as hell earworm choruses, great singing and playing. Favourite track??! Jeez, if I must pick just one... See You In The Morning. Killer!! Favorite track: See You In The Morning.

Junkie Girl 03:04
Here comes that junkie girl trying to bum my smokes again Cross the street like a Tilt a whirl Back and forth, then back again I see her on my way to work wondering where she will end up Sad times ahead for her Back alleys, parking lots and cars Wake up in the middle of night Still wondering if she’ll be alright Never know if she made it home that night Destination East Hastings St. where no one wants to be Where everything is not alright Ya, Ya Ya, Here comes that junkie girl, ya Ya, Ya Ya Cross the street like a Tilt a whirl, ya Ya, Ya Ya, Here comes that junkie girl, ya Ya, Ya Ya Cross the street like a Tilt a whirl, ya Once a month it’s Mardi Gras Frogger classic in your car I don’t see that junkie girl Crossing back and forth again I see her on my way to work wondering where she will end up Sad times ahead for her Back alleys, parking lots and cars Wake up in the middle of night Still wondering if she’ll be alright Never know if she made it home that night Destination East Hastings St. where no one wants to be Where everything is not alright Ya, Ya Ya, Here comes that junkie girl, ya Ya, Ya Ya Cross the street like a Tilt a whirl, ya

Homeless 02:56
Day after day, and time after time Standing like a statue in this god forsaken line My gospel is the union it opens up at nine Thank you very much for telling me that I’ll be fine Well we all know now that escape is very slim I don’t understand how the hell am I supposed to win, Oh no no Homeless I’ve got nothing to eat Homeless And I’m walkin’ my beat Homeless A people lookin’ at me Homeless Oh oh oh oh Homeless I’ve got nothing to eat Homeless And I’m walkin’ my beat Homeless A people lookin’ at me Homeless Week after week, things still looking bleak look further down south and you’ll seen nothing but bare feet Nothing really changes, going on for 30 years lost souls seeking numbness in a polluted river of tears Well we all know now that escape is very slim I don’t understand how the hell am I supposed to win, no no no Homeless I’ve got nothing to eat Homeless And I’m walkin’ my beat Homeless A people lookin’ at me Homeless Oh oh oh oh Homeless I’ve got nothing to eat Homeless And I’m walkin’ my beat Homeless A people lookin’ at me Homeless

Don’t want to talk about it, I see through your mask You’re like a smeared painting, Fragile as glass I know that you think that everything is okay How you built up this fantasy of yours You’ll never ever know the damage you’ve done How could you in your fantasy world You repeat the process, you don’t realize How many more times, are you gonna victimize You pick at my brain every night and every day, How the hell do you think that, that is ever okay You’ll never ever know the damage that you’ve done How could you in your fantasy world I know that you think that everything is okay How you built up this fantasy of yours You’ll never ever know the damage you’ve done How could you in your fantasy world

Back in 1989, blue black hair down to my waistline, not a care in the world, with my nonstop party girl We’re heading out to the show Me and my old lady were good to go, these hicks they started a fuss When we got off the bus Calling me a faggot, just because I have long hair Relentless jeers, calling me a queer, I had enough of them acting tough I took a swing and a miss for you baby I took a swing and a miss I took a swing and a miss for ya honey I took a swing and a miss I took a swing and a miss for you baby I took a swing and a miss I - I took a swing and a miss Longest walk of my life, embarrassed me and my wife That’s where I draw the line, that’s when I got the sign Took a chance, I said let's dance, all the while i’m just shittin’ my pants They said, hey man chill out, we’re just messin’ about Calling me a faggot, just because I have long hair Relentless jeers, calling me a queer, I had enough of them acting tough I took a swing and a miss for you baby I took a swing and a miss I took a swing and a miss for you honey I took a swing and a miss I took a swing and a miss for you baby I took a swing and a miss I - I took a swing and a miss

Goddammit, I know I should have planned it Didn’t think about stability Wish I thought about it a little bit longer Could've dodged a bullet in dishonesty You thought you were always right and you claimed you're my biggest fan This was all before things went south and you fucked off to Japan Do you see this? I don’t want this I don’t care if you have to dance This has gotta to be the worse weekend that I could ever plan Will I see you in the morning? Oh man you know I just don’t care I wish I never called you or worked my way around you Oh man you know I just don’t care Misdemeanor, it could have been cleaner Didn't think about civility Should have thought longer and been a bit stronger Could have been your lack of sobriety You thought you were always right and you claimed you're my biggest fan This was all before things went south and you fucked off to Japan Do you see this? I don’t want this I don’t care if you have to dance This has gotta to be the worse weekend that I could ever plan Will I see you in the morning? Oh man you know I just don’t care I wish I never called you or worked my way around you Oh man you know I just don’t care

I’ll meet you down at the station Just around a quarter to three You can tell me all of your frustrations Or how about you just tell me why we’re going our separate ways I don’t know why I even bothered I don’t know why I even cared All I know is that I’m done here and I got nothing here to lose, but a mind full of memories and booze In the dead of night, when everything’s alright and I’m lying here thinking of you, are you thinking of me? Goddamn was I so wrong, that’s why I wrote this song Cause I thought you were thinking of me, when I was thinking of you Sure, I know, I lost our money I’m not a gambling man, but I try to be Give me one more chance at the casino And I’ll tell you that I’ll win in another round or 2 or maybe 3 I hope you know that I found out that I was not the only one I guess you sure deserve a shout out For pulling the wool over my eyes, cuz I never really did theorize In the dead of night, when everything’s alright and I’m lying here thinking of you, are you thinking of me? Goddamn was I so wrong, that’s why I wrote this song Cause I thought you were thinking of me, when I was thinking of you I could tell you I’ve made my mind up I could tell you why, but would you really care Jesus Christ even calls you out...and I say Then I’ll pretend and ask were you were even there In the dead of night, when everything’s alright and I’m lying here thinking of you, are you thinking of me? Goddamn was I so wrong, that’s why I wrote this song Cause I thought you were thinking of me, when I was thinking of you

Free Falling 03:41
Tick tock, tick tock everything is spinning homewrecker, flaccid pecker, too much drinkin’ Half the time I’m doing fine, but I know this just ain’t me Tic Tac, Tic Tac, to hide my darkest secret Step forward, go back and brush under the carpet It’s the little things that I can’t bring, but I know this just ain’t me Like a vintage tent, propped up and spent, and travelling’ across the plains play the victim like your Oscar bound, so goddamn right insane Feeling like I let you down, and further down again Like a natural born loser, self-appointed soul abuser Free falling down upon the ground Crashing down a flight of stairs I hope no one's around, to see me Free falling down upon the ground Crashing down a flight of stairs, now I don’t even wanna be me I know, you know, everybody’s thinking it Don’t move past go or everybody’s drinking it It’s the little things that I can’t bring, but I know this just ain’t me Like a vintage tent, propped up and spent, and travelling’ across the plains play the victim like your Oscar bound, so goddamn right insane Feeling like I let you down, and further down again Like a natural born loser, self-appointed soul abuser Free falling down upon the ground Crashing down a flight of stairs I hope no one's around, to see me Free falling down upon the ground Crashing down a flight of stairs, now I don’t even wanna be me I've got a nasty headache And I can barely see drunk dialed 3 ex-wives last night … oh Jesus Christ, fuck me Free falling down upon the ground Crashing down a flight of stairs I hope no one's around, to see me Free falling down upon the ground Crashing down a flight of stairs, now I don’t even wanna be me

We gonna do this again? Look at you crawling back to me you claimed you loved me but that ain’t no possibility Lies and more lies, you spoke to me but were disguised I don’t know how you slept at night Consciously stealing my trust every day Acting self-righteous was just your forte how can you even try, when you’re off with some other guy? Bring on the night, it’s not too dark to see I can’t believe my eyes again, you’re crawling back to me Cash came a calling and it’s not too hard to see I can’t believe my eyes again, you’re crawling back to me I almost fell into your trap again Too many temptations until you zipped your yap again sad, it’s so sad, that someone could act out this bad her conscience thinly veiled, surprised? I’m not I just realized Consciously stealing my trust every day Acting self-righteous was just your forte how can you even try, when you’re off with some other guy? Bring on the night, it’s not too dark to see I can’t believe my eyes again, you’re crawling back to me Cash came a calling and it’s not too hard to see I can’t believe my eyes again, you’re crawling back to me
